Simon is an Associate in the Corporate Commercial department at Myerson. Simon joined Myerson in December 2021, having previously worked for North West law firm Bermans following successful completion of his training at Laytons. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with an upper second-class degree and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Manchester part-time. Whilst completing the Legal Practice Course Simon worked as a paralegal at Addleshaw Goddard in the transaction services team gaining experience across a number of areas of law. As a member of our Corporate team, specialising in corporate matters, Simon has experience in working upon a variety of corporate instructions, including share acquisitions and disposals, company reorganisations and incorporations. Outside of work, Simon has a keen interest in film and politics whilst he also enjoys cycling at the weekends.

When a critical event happens
I was in hospital in a critical condition and heavily medicated. I made sure Myerson’s where aware of my condition so they could filter my responses and protect me. They manage the process I was involved in very well indeed.
I was clear on the hard line I wanted to take. Great advice was given and we stuck the the planned strategy.
We had an overwhelming win on all aspects of the process I was involved. I have already decided to use this firm in my next venture.

company acquisition and franchise business
Myerson have helped us over the years but we recently had them lead on a company acquisition which we completed 3 weeks ago. They got to the point quickly and managed all of the detail very well. As lawyers do, they pointed out the risks and made recommendations but were flexible enough to accept instruction when the need arose.
I like Myerson - i like the people and i like their friendly approach and i will be using them more.
