She qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has practised property law in London, Maidenhead and Aylesbury, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in both residential and commercial property transactions. She grew up in the local area, moving to London to attend university. She received an award from the Law Society for being the highest attaining pupil in her year on the Legal Practice Course and went on to train and work in London for a number of years. totally unsatisfactory service
My solicitor was Lorraine Wilde. She was usually ,'in a meeting, on leave or away from her desk' when I rang to speak to her. This involved the sale of an app. in Beaconsfield, Tim Russ manages the app. for me. Her manner was unhelpful and unfriendly. I am used to dealing with people, both customers and staff, I had six salons, and enjoy working with a team. From the start this was clearly not going to happen. I felt she was doing me a favour in doing her job, it appeared to be beneath her. It was constantly frustrating not to be able to discuss the situation with her. Finally, she compiled a completion statement that didn't include important deductions, needed to be made from the buyers final tally. When I pointed this out to her, she said it was too late to include them, but that I should bill the buyer directly. These bills were for a proportion of the council tax and insurance owed. I made it clear to both her and Tim Russ that I would not be dealing with her again in the future.

Property Sale.
Excellent service, quite a difficult sale. Changing from freehold to leasehold for the flat in Beaconsfield.
The mortgage lender was not helpful and without Lorraine and Joanna's help, the sale would not have proceeded.

Difficult sale
I had to sell my mum's property as she went into a care home. She had a lease property and the ground rent exceeded a threshold which completed and prolonged matters. That with a buyer's solicitor who seemed to be picky and untrusting made the whole process extremely stressful. BWK were excellent, professional, very thorough and responded to all matters very quickly. This is the 2nd time I have used them and would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

Two property sales and purchase
When picking a solicitor I always think it is important to have someone with experience and who is local. Lorraine at BWK ticked all those boxes and did not disappoint. Her knowledge of the overall process really helped to keep the sale of our two properties and purchase of our new home on track. She went over and above to deal with difficult people and always kept us up to date on the latest situation.
