Commercial lease dilapidations defence: Karen Taylor
Karen Taylor of Myerson acted for us in a high-value dilapidations claim arising out of a commercial lease where we were tenants running our own legal practice. The case bristled with problems and the initial claim was some £80,000. There was also an issue with the service of a break notice. The Landlord instructed a leading law firm and we were faced with the prospect of very expensive costs. By Karen’s expertise and efficiency, we were able to settle the claim with a surveyor’s help for some £28,000. We were delighted with the service we received and avoided a nightmare. As a long-qualified solicitor (46 years) and former part time judge, (25 years) I can wholeheartedly recommend her.
