Sale and purchase of property

I was unable to add another lawyer s name. Both Laura, who handled the sale of my house and Olivia on the purchase kept us informed of what was going on. I know they both faced problems and frustrations during the process but even with a late exchange of contacts we completed on the desired date. Altogether we were happy with your service ( not moved for 50yrs so out of touch with conveyancing)

Brilliant service

Laura was brilliant from start to finish for our sale and purchase. In what was no doubt a busy and stressful time for everyone, Laura remained reachable and kept us regularly updated with progress from both sides, and worked hard to get it over the line before the SDLT changes. We’d definitely use Laura again!

From start to finish Laura Higgins and her team were excellent. Quick to reply to everything and handled delicate negotiations professionally and skillfully to bring about a good sale of the property.

House sale

Carly Traverse recently dealt with the sale of my house and I was very impressed with the service I received. She was very proactive and always quick to respond. Outstanding service

Heather Adams and Hassan Shah worked on our behalf with the sale of our property. We needed a very fast completion on the sale and they managed to deliver on time in difficult and complex circumstances.
I found them very professional and thorough. We were kept fully informed of the progress and they managed to handle all the document signing efficiently and on time even though my husband was based in New York throughout the process.

Property Investor Review – Myerson Solicitors

I recently used Myerson Solicitors to complete the purchase of an investment property acquired via auction. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service provided and would both recommend them to others and use them again in the future.

Key positives:

Competitive fees: Their pricing was fair and represented good value for the service received.

Transparent service and fees: I appreciated the clarity in their breakdown of costs and the transparency around what was (and wasn’t) included in their service.

Timely and efficient: They met all required deadlines, which was particularly important given the time pressures of an auction purchase.

Responsive: Communication was generally prompt, and my queries were answered within a reasonable timeframe.

Points for consideration:

Office location: The office is easy enough to reach, although parking can be a challenge. There is metered parking available outside, which helps.

Post-box security: One concern was the external post-box, which is not secure. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving any confidential documents there when the office was closed.

Auction purchase context: As the property was purchased at auction, contracts were exchanged at the fall of the hammer. While this understandably limited the opportunity for standard enquiries, I did feel that this was occasionally used as a catch-all reason not to engage with some of the legal questions I raised. In such cases, I would have valued a clearer legal opinion or interpretation, rather than a default deferral.

Conclusion:
Despite a few minor drawbacks, I found Myerson Solicitors to be professional, efficient, and competitively priced. They handled the transaction well and were reliable throughout. I would be happy to work with them again on future property investments.
