Excellent conveyancing experience
I've used BLJ solicitors 3 times in the last couple of years and the experience has always been excellent in all the stages of the conveyancing process. Chris and Olivia were very professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my queries very quickly and patiently and kept me up to date at all times. The last transaction required some last minute changes and they dealt with it in a fast manner that ensured the agreed timeline for completion was achieved successfully.

Purchase of new house
Excellent service provided whilst selling our old house and purchasing our new one. Fast and helpful replies to emails and kept us updated every step of the process. Highly recommend.

Sale & Purchase
Olivia and Chris were amazing at communicating something that previous solicitors had failed at. There were a few back and forth situations and I was kept up to speed. I can be a pain asking for Information all the time but it was never a problem and received replies in a timely manner. Thank you for everything!

Good service, check for Leasehold Fee before beginning the process.
Dealt with Chris Courtenay who was great throughout and navigated some difficulties from the management company.
Reason for three stars is that they added an additional £270 charge a day before finalising for the property being leasehold. This was not included in the initial quote despite them knowing the property was leasehold and Chris informed me that "it looks like it has been an error on the system when quoted".
Quite disappointing with it being so close to finalising leaving me no ability to dispute so would just advise others to query at the beginning!

Very good service
Whenever we had a query they were accessible. They ‘nudged’ our vendor when things were not progressing. They were polite and friendly and efficient and they got the job done!

Wonderful Experience
Chris worked tirelessly to complete on our house. He was incredibly responsive to any queries I had throughout the process. Smooth collaboration during a complex property auction purchase
I had a complex case involving a property purchase via modern auction, which came with its own set of challenges. Chris was usually quick to respond and maintained good communication throughout the process. Despite the intricacies, we managed to bring the case to a successful conclusion, for which I’m truly grateful. I would definitely recommend working with him.
