Jasbir is a Family & Childcare Solicitor who qualified in 2008. He has advised & represented Parents and children (via their guardians) in Child Care proceedings including Applications for Care Orders, Supervision Orders, Family Assistance Orders, Secure Accommodation Orders and Emergency Protection Orders. He has also advised & represented parties involved in family disputes concerning children including Applications regarding Abduction, Change of Name, Specific Issues, Parental Responsibility, Surrogacy, Prohibited Steps & Child Arrangements and concerning Matrimonial matters including Divorce & Financial Settlement. Jasbir has a particular passion for advising, assisting & representing parties involved in Domestic Abuse cases including Applications for Female Genital Mutilation Orders, Forced Marriage Protection Orders, Non-Molestation Orders & Occupation Orders. Jasbir is a dedicated Court Advocate regularly attending the Family Court at all levels and having represented clients in the High Court in all aspects of Family Proceedings. Jasbir holds Law Society Accreditations for Children Law & Family Law Advanced. Jasbir has trained, mentored and supported many of his colleagues over his career to secure training contracts, Accreditations and promotions, Jasbir has a keen interest in the development of the Profession regularly mentoring & recruiting students.
