Great experience

Straightforward process

Settlement & Employment Law - Ellie Broadhurst
Going through redundancy and the process of settlement negotiation is a difficult experience for anyone. As a disabled and neurodivergent person, I found it particularly hard. Ellie was incredibly supportive, informative and professional throughout which made the experience so much less challenging. She made me feel listened to, understood and prioritised. Very Professional
David Ward gave me very professional and realistic advice regarding a potential employment claim. I really appreciated that he gave me an honest appraisal of my situation, rather than just telling me what I wanted to hear.
I found Blacks through an online search regarding employment law, but I have previously used them for conveyancing and they were very professional on that occasion too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Incredible service

Settlement Agreement Made Easy
I honestly could not recommend David enough. I had never previously been involved in any legal disputes with my employer and he immediately put me at ease. He was extremely helpful and managed to negotiate me a better deal than was originally on the table (which I was extremely grateful for). David never missed a call and was prompt in replying to emails. He was also very open about how much it was going to cost and didn't go over his original estimation, which was very reasonable. 10/10 and would highly recommend!

High Quality of Service, Responsive and Professional.
It’s not easy to go through the legal procedures but I’m extremely pleased with the services of David Ward on a disability discrimination case. I contacted David at very short notice for advice and legal representation but couldn’t explain my case clearly, had doubt if I actually had a case and was hopeless. David patiently listened to me, treated me with respect, simplified the process and stages, explained my rights, the relevant employment law to my case and gave me a realistic quote for the legal fees. I was kept updated at every stage of the process, and the matter was executed in an extremely professional manner and at pace. David actually cares about the quality of his work, getting a fair and the best outcome for his clients and knows the practice of law very well. Excellent value for money, responsive and I cannot recommend David and Black Solicitors services enough - truly exceptional.

Highly recommend. Helpful, trustworthy and professional.
Obviously legal matters are sensitive but I cannot thank David Wars at Blacks for saving the tiny bit of sanity I had left remaining. He took care of everything, made sure there was no snags or clauses that could arise and dealt directly with the other party involved. He made sure I was treated fairly and explained the terms so I could actually understand what I was signing. As well as giving me all options and the pros and cons that come with each route. Ultimately he can’t tell me what to do but I wouldn’t have been able to make the right decision without his support and advice. Thank you David.
