Jess graduated from the University of Law in 2023 with an LLB (Hons) with Criminology. Shortly after, she joined the McHale & Co family in October 2023 as a Legal Advisor in the Probate Department. During her studies, she found that she really enjoyed Private Client law and, as such, will be looking to further her legal career and qualify as a Private Client Solicitor with McHale & Co in the future. Away from the office, Jess is a big Formula One fan and enjoy taking part in the ‘Girls Across the Grid’ community, making motorsports more inclusive. Aside from this, baking is a popular aspect of her home life, often replicating exciting dishes from the Great British Bake Off and hosting her own ‘Come Dine with Me’ competitions with family and friends.

Handling of deceased estate
I am thankful for the help and understanding when I unexpectantly heard about this death. I agreed to take on role as administrator to help put the person to rest and sort out her estate. With the help of Jess and changing if solicitors, Jess agreed to carry on sorting out this estate.

Dealing with relatives' estate
A relative died in intestate. Due to unforseen circumstances this process went on for a long time and Jess was the third solicitor to deal with it as the two previous firms went out of business. Jess has worked very hard to tie up loose ends and bring this sad event to a close. Jess's honest advice and excellent communication has been really appreciated as she kept me updated on all events. Thank you.

Excellent service
