I should have taken heed by the rude manner in which Richard spoke to his receptionist the first time we went in and wish we’d walked out. Nonetheless, he was polite, knowledgable and efficient with us and we subsequently engaged him to deal with our conveyancing affairs. What a mistake.

The experience was painful and makes my stomach turn thinking back to it. He was rude, impatient, made us do all of the work, cast blame, transferred incorrect funds DAYS after completion, lacked attention to detail, had to be chased...the list goes on - he made us feel like complete and utter imbeciles throughout the entire process.

Had we have had the energy to make a formal complaint at the time, we would have gone all the way, but the experience left us drained and so he got away with it.

Richard plays a dangerous game in a small village - locals talk and word spreads. There weren’t review sites like this at the time, but had we enquired with locals before we went in, our mistake wouldn’t have been made. We will never step foot in there again.
