My partner and I called many solicitors who were unable to help us as our case was considered a complex one due to my partner being an asylum seeker. There was very little confidence in believing we would be successful in being together. After many hours & months of trying to find the solicitor that was right for us, we made our decision to go with Axis Solicitors in Birmingham. This became the best decision we ever made. We were initially apprehensive as we live in Scotland, however Olly assured us this wouldn’t be a problem & they could still represent us should our case go to an appeal.
It was suggested to us by Olly & Ikra that my partner should withdraw his asylum claim & leave the UK voluntarily to return to his home country. By doing this, it respects the UK law & shows the government you don’t wish to abuse their system or take any government funding. This gives a better chance for my partners return to the UK. We did find this to be a huge risk but trusted our solicitors. Olly & Ikra had been honest throughout the whole process, explaining whatever we do, there would always be an element of risk. It was an extremely anxious 7 weeks wait since my parter done his biometrics test, however we’re pleased to share that we’ve been successful & are currently planning 2 weddings (one for each of our cultures).
We really can’t thank Olly & Ikra enough for everything they’ve done for us. They constantly reassured us through what was a very difficult time. We mostly worked closely with Ikra & not one day went past where she would leave us without a reply of any kind. She was always approachable & reachable when we needed her. Ikra provided us with all of the relevant people we needed to inform throughout the process. Even now, she is still messaging my partner of trustworthy travel agents to ensure of his safe return.
We will absolutely continue to work with this firm & hopefully Olly & Ikra again in proceeding to the next part of our journey in the spouse application.
I apologise for the huge review but I believe it’s always helpful for others to see if their situation is similar to ours where they can get the best outcome from the best solicitors.

Outstanding Support from Start to Finish – Highly Recommended!
I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Olly and the entire team at Axis Solicitors in Birmingham for their outstanding support throughout my immigration journey. They helped me with my wife’s initial spousal visa, spousal visa extension, indefinite leave to remain, and finally her citizenship application. From start to finish, this team has been by my side.
Mr. Olly has always remained professional, calm, and reassuring during what can be very stressful and worrying processes. He tells you exactly what is needed, allowing you to prepare the necessary documents in good time. While it was my responsibility to ensure all documents were correct and error-free, it was extremely comforting to have a team who knew exactly what was required and could guide me through each step with professionalism and care.

Family or Private Life UK Visa

Absolutely brilliant service all round!
The service was top notch from start to finish and we were kept updated every step of the way. Mr Oly was absolutely professional initially with the options for the application and Mr Amir was the lead and chased up the case with the home office when there were delays. I highly recommend Axis.

Visa extension
Mohammed Olly & Amirul Islam from the Birmingham brach have been a pleasure to deal with and have been helpful, courteous and professional.My visa application had been hassle to change from 10 years route to 5 years. Mohammed assured me that I will be granted my visa, he was professional and kind. I would thoroughly recommend Axis lawyers and will be back for further application.

Top job, guys
Our minds were put at ease as soon as we started dealing with Axis Solicitors. Mohammed Olly & Amirul Islam from the Birmingham brach have been a pleasure to deal with and have been polite, courteous and professional with us. My wifes visa application had been rejected and it was a stressful time for us but the lads from Axis stepped up and really looked after us. Spousal visa application
I used axis solicitors for a spousal visa application, I’m so glad I did. I had a consultation with Olly and he talked me through the process and advised me, he introduced me to Iqra.Iqra dealt with my case she is very professional, everything was dealt with in a timely manner and I have received a successful decision. A smooth process overall
The lawyers communicated the required documents clearly and gave frequent updates on the application status. They were also prompt in correcting any errors in the form. The lawyers were approachable and gave useful advice on booking appointment slots.

Spouse visas
Edit: Ikra has assisted me with our 3rd visa application (my wife's spouse visa renewal). We had the biometric appointment on 15 December 2023 and received our decision on on 4 January 2024, which was another exceptionally fast decision! Once again, Ikra's service has been invaluable. I highly recommend Ikra for all immigration matters.
Ikra and Olly assisted me and my partner with a UK fiancé visa application, which was submitted in Mid October 2020 and granted on the 1 December 2020. This was an exceptionally quick decision, which enabled my partner to move to the UK in time for Christmas.
Following this, Ikra assisted my partner with a UK spouse visa application, which was submitted in May 2021 and granted in less than 2 weeks, which was again an exceptionally quick decision.
The service provided by Ikra has been outstanding. Ikra has been very responsive throughout both visa processes, answering calls and messages instantly. This helped us submit both visa applications very quickly and gave us confidence that both applications included all of the required information and were of a high standard. The high quality of the applications may have been a factor in the speed of both decisions we received.
I highly recommend appointing Ikra to assist with immigration matters. She made a stressful process reassuring and as easy as possible.
Me and my partner are extremely grateful for the help we received from Ikra, which has enabled us to live together as a married couple.
