After a career in hairdressing, Fiona decided to retrain. She graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a first-class law degree and a Masters in Legal Practice. Prior to joining JWP Solicitors, Fiona worked at a Yorkshire firm for 4 years where she predominantly worked in Private Client advising clients about Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Fiona also completed her training contract and gained experience in Contentious Probate and the Child Abuse Compensation team. Fiona qualified as a Solicitor in January 2025 and through joining the Private Client team at JWP, Fiona will be broadening her knowledge in areas such as Probate, Court of Protection and Property. Fiona is passionate about providing excellent service and really cares about her clients wishes and needs.

New Will
Made an appointment and saw Fiona to redraft my Will. Fiona was so very thorough and discussed everything with me so I felt I had covered any issues I had.

Will and power of attorney
I have experience of many lawyers in my long life.
Fiona is by far the best.
She is excellent in every way and knows the law and can give advice far beyond what I have experienced before.
Her memory and understanding is outstanding.
I have no hesitation in recommending her for preparation of a will and power of attorney.
