I have worked in crime, housing, employment and family specialising in family since 2003. I have a wealth of experience in all areas of Family Law including care, divorce financial proceedings emergency applications for children and domestic violence. Education & Professional Memberships Family Law Panel since 1991 Notable Cases Re H 2006 EWCA Civ 1875 What were you doing and where at before you arrived at National Legal Service:- I have worked at two legal 500 firms for over twenty years Max Barford and Co and Clarke Kiernan Solicitors. I was a duty solicitor for 24 years, and worked in Family and Complex Crime. I was a founding director in Barford Fraser before joining NLS . I began working with the NCDV from the beginning, and for a time was the only solicitor to do the work in Kent. I have an abiding passion for non-molestation proceedings as I believe that it is vital work that saves so many lives. I see it as the fourth emergency service. I enjoy advocacy and this is large part of my role. I supervise Maidstone and work with my team to protect as many clients as possible through non-molestation applications and undertake private law children proceedings I have also issued urgent applications to return children to the jurisdiction or to ensure they remain. I supervise my team who are all hardworking committed to assisting clients in their need for legal assistance and justice, supported by Legal Aid.
