Rebecca Roberts

Associate Solicitor

Rebecca joined Amicus Law in February 2025 and is based in our Wellington office. Rebecca is passionate about education law and is particularly interested in supporting families to secure the best possible outcomes for their children with special educational needs and disabilities. Rebecca has a wealth of experience in this area, both personally as a parent to a child with significant special needs, and as a former Headteacher, SENCO and inclusion manager in schools. As a teacher she won a national teaching award and has experience teaching across all key stages. She has spent the last year fighting to secure suitable provision for her autistic son and understands the challenges and difficulties that the current system creates for families and young people with special educational needs. Prior to joining Amicus Law Rebecca worked as a Headteacher and SENCO, and before this as a solicitor specialising in the area of tax and trusts. She has worked both in London in a prestigious City Law Firm and regionally. In her downtime Rebecca loves to spend time with her two children – who keep her fairly busy! Whenever she gets any spare time she likes to go horse riding and read.

Had an initial appointment, with Rebecca Roberts, to give me information, on what the school should be doing, regarding my sen child. The amount the school have done since, all the advise, I'd be given, has been incredible. Just want to thank you, for given me so much well needed information, in the 40 minutes, I had with you. Would recommend you to anyone and will definitely be using you in the future if/when we need you.
