Emily studied Law at Northumbria University, Newcastle, completing her Masters in Law and LPC with a 2:1. Thereafter, Emily worked as a Paralegal for a little over one year from 2018 – 2019 before undertaking her Training Contract with the same firm in January 2020; a high-street firm with 6 offices across the North East. During both time as a Paralegal and Trainee Solicitor, Emily undertook only Family Law work, both private and public. As a Trainee, Emily was trusted and responsible for covering for her Head of Department during maternity leave. Emily qualified in July 2021 and made the move to a regional firm just outside of Manchester, before joining Stowe Family Law’s Altrincham team in June 2022. Emily also supports Stowe’s Crewe and Stockton Heath offices.Emily is a member and accredited specialist of Resolution and has experience in dealing with divorce, financial and children matters, both in and outside of the court arena. Emily also has a lot of experience dealing with domestic abuse, namely Non-Molestation and Occupation Order matters, having worked closely alongside domestic abuse charities during her time in the North East.
