Trainee CILEX Lawyer

Jessica Soulsby joined the Cygnet Law team in May 2023 as a Legal Secretary whilst she continued to study towards her Level 3 Cilex qualification to become a Paralegal. During this time, Jessica progressed through the firm and became a Trainee Cilex Lawyer, owing to her attention to detail and legal drafting skills. Jessica has attended multiple court hearings, most recently attending a three-week criminal trial on behalf of a Children's Guardian. She previously assisted a parent in a case with notable issues involving fabricated and induced illness. Jessica often assists senior fee earners in representing the local authority in public proceedings. However, she also assists parents and legal guardians with various issues.
