My wife and I recently sold our house in Bristol and made a move to Northern Ireland. Selling our home, and the house chain(s) we were a part of turned in to a nightmare. If it wasn't for kieran and his team helping us throughout I don't think we would have mentally made it through the process. Kieran kept us informed and did his best to push hard for a close just before our mortgage offer expired. House sales never go as planned as we learned but we're extremely grateful for all of the teams help at bachelor sharps.

My Nan and I would personally like to thank the team at Batchelor Sharp. We used Batchelor to sell my Nans house which went through smoothly and speedy. My Nan then found a new property to purchase and we used Batchelor Sharp again as we knew them. I used Batchelor sharp for my recent house purchase and I cannot fault them.
We are first time buyers and after pulling out of a previous sale due to complications higher in the chain and being very let down to our previous solicitor based in kingswood, we are so grateful to have found Batchelor sharp and particularly to have Kieran and Kelly working on our case.
From the get go, Kelly was quick to answer all of my questions and i didn't have to wait anything more than 24 hours for a response. Kelly is so friendly and bubbly and never made me feel like any of my questions were silly, something that my previous solicitor had done. The service from Batchelor sharp compared to the other firm that I had used was 100 times better!

The reviews somehow are mixed I expected across the board to be 1 star. There must be some decent people who work here.
First off I never instructed Batchelor Sharp (thankfully) to be my conveyancer but unfortunately my buyer did.
I'm not a conveyancer myself but I'm assuming 3 months sitting on enquiries is not the norm. Also your own conveyancer being constantly ignored and not responded to is also not normal.
Sadly the time it took for a simple FTB no chain purchase took so long that the house we were originally buying the owner no longer wanted to sale us the house. To be fair the total wait to do the transaction at this point was 6 months + with no reason given as to why it took so long.
I then came to understand that a family member and a colleague of mine also instructed Batchelor Sharp years ago and had the same experience as my buyer did even my barber when he heard the company name knew them very well too.
So read this with caution in mind if you plan on choosing them. If your in no rush and happy for them to take 7 months or so on a simple transaction then they are the ones for you.

My wife and I were selling our first home and moving up the ladder into a bigger family home and used Batchelor Sharp for both the sale and purchase.
We are so glad that we did. From instruction to eventual completion they have kept us in the loop with everything, responded quickly to emails and enquiries and have made the whole process a lot less stressful than it could have been.
We had the added pressure of needing to complete before the stamp duty increase which they managed to achieve so we moved in a week before the deadline.
Very impressed and satisfied with Emma and Jagoda and would definitely instruct them for further purchases and sales in the future.
