I chose the partner firm Chandler Ray as they were local so was disappointed to later find my conveyance was being dealt with at an office 12 miles away and by a trainee, who I was told had gone away on 3 weeks holiday when I contacted the firm to find out why I had not had a reply to a couple of questions I had raised. From that point onwards, my case was dealt with by the solicitor supervising the trainee. She was very friendly, responding promptly and keeping me in the picture at every stage.
My subsequent responses reflect my opinion once the supervising solicitor took over.

From the initial call taken by reception to receipt of the final invoice the Service delivered by this well integrated and very pleasant team put expectations in a shadow
I was unaware of HealdLaw, shortlisted because of their web-site and appointed because of response times, understanding of requirements and clear explanation of costs and what I had to do
Their use of remote conferencing was faultless and the various Apps / document transfers worked first time

We were lucky enough to have Tom in charge of our sale and purchase. He was always keeping us up to date, always responded in a really good time frame and was always happy to deal with me being stressed 90% of the time. He made a really stressful process really smooth and if we ever decide to move and he is still doing this job I would 100% contact him again. We also had some dealings with his collegiate Elaine who was also extremely nice and professional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Experience with Heald Solicitors – New Build Purchase 🏡

I recently used Heald Solicitors for the purchase of a new build property and had a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. As a first-time buyer, I had many questions throughout the process, and the team was incredibly patient, approachable, and thorough in answering them all 🙌.

A heartfelt thank you to Kirsty, my solicitor, and her assistant Elaine, who both handled my case with professionalism and genuine care 💼. They were always easy to reach and took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly. I’d also like to thank Alex, who stepped in seamlessly to manage the exchange of contracts while Kirsty was away — everything went smoothly, which speaks volumes about the team's coordination and reliability 🔄. It’s clear that Heald Solicitors are not only responsible and well-organised, but also truly committed to their clients’ best interests ✅.

The reason I’m giving 4.5 stars (rounded to 4 due to platform limitations) instead of a full 5 is down to two minor points: the service was slightly more expensive than some other solicitors 💷, and I felt that communication could have been a bit more proactive, particularly with regular updates on progress without me needing to follow up 📬.

That said, I honestly wish I could give 5 stars ⭐️ — the service was excellent, and the dedication of the team really stood out. With a little improvement in those areas, they’d absolutely deserve a perfect rating.

Overall, I’m very happy with how everything was handled and would confidently recommend Heald Solicitors to anyone purchasing a property 🏠👏.
