Genuinely couldn’t be worse without being a complete hoax of a business. I wouldn’t touch them again with a barge pole the length of Pendennis dry dock. If I could give negative stars I would.
Firstly they were so horrendously slow to reply via email or via phone, namely Sharon Burley and Charlie Day.
After stating I wanted to complete on a set date 1-2months in advance, I had heard nothing with from Nalders and was ready to transfer the money over when I though I’d better given them a call beforehand. Turns out Sharon had gone on annual leave and left both the source of funds paperwork and the TR1 form incomplete which meant it couldn’t be progressed any further until I came back from travelling.
On return, the invoice for actual payment was incorrect and when asked to supply me with an accurate copy the second was also incorrect, no surprise really as by this point I knew what I was in for.
On the day of completion after I’d transferred the money to Nalders. I had no receipt of receiving funds, but a phone call to say they still hadn’t received some of the source of funds documents. After a very stressful half an hour, I then found these documents and asked if anything else was required. I was assured all was completed. This was until 2 hours after the funds should have been completed when I had an email stating I’d still got £18 to pay, down to their incorrect invoice. Again no surprise here.
It was all sorted in the end, but genuinely I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rebecca Joyce when selling my late mother's home. I couldn't be more impressed with the level of professionalism and expertise she brought to the table. From the initial consultation to the final closing, Rebecca guided me through every step of the process with clarity and confidence, including the addition of an overage clause on the title.
Her deep understanding of real estate law and keen attention to detail ensured that all legal aspects were handled seamlessly, giving me peace of mind throughout the transaction.
I have no hesitation recommending Rebecca Joyce and Nalders.

Zoe T is an awesome solicitor. Driven, confident and knowledgeable. I have worked with a lot of solicitors over the years for various purchases & sales but not met any quiet like her. Nadler's as a company have helped me through some difficult decisions and heated conversations and get the job done each time. Wouldn't use anyone else.

6 months for a very simple convenience (still no completed) no searches, no survey, no finance, straight forward cash transaction, Nalders are not completing there work in house, they are tendering work out to just about anyone, and when it goes wrong, as mine did, your on your own, Nalders are miss leading there clients, and prospective clients by inferring they completing work in house..avoid

I do not recommend this firm for conveyancing. The process was very arduous as they did not inform me about or explain important details, which I wish I knew from the beginning. When I complained via the complaints procedure, the solicitor apologised for the stress it caused me, but I got the impression that this negligent practice was acceptable and nothing would change for further clients. I will stay clear of Nalders from now on and recommend others do the same.
There are a good few reviews on here reporting the same issues. Thus, I do recommend that the whole firm engage in communication skills training as part of their professional development, in order to improve the service they provide to clients. It is important that all clients feel heard and well informed every step of the way.
Andrew at the wills department, however provided an excellent, swift service and was incredibly kind and helpful.

This has taken well over 6 months and still no completion of a sale of a very tiny parcel on land. It's been passed from one member of staff to another with limited communication to ourselves. We have done all the chasing and still no completion, no wonder their reviews are so poor. I would never recommend this company to any one!

Too long to describe, but if we hadn't changed solicitors we'd be living in a house that was never granted planning permission. Just avoid at all costs.

My wife and I had one of the worst experiences of our lives in June 2021, when, largely thanks to the appalling services provided by Mark Buswell of Nalders solicitors, our house purchase fell through at the last minute, leaving us with nowhere to go and only 5 days to find a rental and storage for all our worldly possessions. Mark Buswell is a dangerous mix of arrogance and sheer incompetence. He was not interested in spending any time on our matter and completely failed to get to grips with the various complex issues in our purchase. He frequently made fundamental mistakes, eg. sending us formal Transfer documents containing serious errors, serving confidential/highly sensitive correspondence on the seller's solicitors despite my express instructions not to do so, making incorrect assertions about fundamental covenants (which our experienced surveyor agreed were plain wrong) and various similar errors. Mr Buswell apparently did not have time to apply his mind to our matter, ignoring complex correspondence from both ourselves and our highly experienced surveyor and preferring to send very short e-mails which entirely missed the point and failed to get to grips with the issues. Even worse than his incompetence (and less forgivable) was his unhelpful, arrogant attitude. We might have been able to tolerate this, had Mr Buswell been able to do his job properly, but he clearly was not and I was left picking up the pieces, at the most stressful time of our lives, by trawling through lengthy legal documents at all hours of the day and night to do the job which Mr Buswell should have been doing and which we were paying him very good money to do. We were up against a very difficult seller (which made this a complex transaction), which made it all the more important that we got things right, but instead of engaging with the issues and trying to protect our interests, Mr Buswell managed to become an even bigger problem - ultimately eclipsing the problems caused by the seller - by failing us in every imaginable respect at every conceivable hurdle. We ended up losing the house, and it nearly broke our marriage too (it took us a year to get over the trauma of losing our dream home and going into rentals indefinitely). I had picked Nalders very carefully, choosing one of the more expensive firms and a senior solicitor (Buswell) in the hope that this would provide us with a very professional outfit. It did anything but, and we will never forget the appalling way in which we were treated by Mark Buswell and Nalders. I would avoid Nalders - and certainly Mark Buswell - at all costs. Look elsewhere.
Sincerely,
Simon McCarthy

I am hopefully just reaching the end of my second encounter with Nalders. On each occasion they were not my solicitors, they were acting for the other party in property transactions. On each occasion I have been amazed at how badly simple things can fail to be done. 5 years ago when buying our present house they managed to produce a contract in the name of the previous owner who had died several months before and who's family were selling. This despite the fact that they had executed his will. Resolving this caused a 6 week delay for reasons that were never made clear. This second time they are acting for the buyer of a house we used to rent out and have now chosen to sell. An empty house selling to a first time buyer should be as easy as it gets. Each time we have been asked to return information or to do something it has ben dealt with in a day or two, yet it has taken an age with promised simple actions not being carried out for weeks on end. Most recently at 5pm on the day before a proposed exchange of contracts a little collection of petty footling enquiries were produced. Exchange did not occur. Today at 3pm I understand that they may want to exchange and complete (simultaneously) tomorrow – but aren’t sure if they can. It simply isn’t good enough. I am a bit of a property developer, not big time, but a few houses over the years. This is the worst I have encountered and as it has happened twice I am moved to post a review.
