The most unprofessional, uncommunicative and poor service I have ever received. The purchase of our property has been delayed by several weeks due to LPL and their lack of motivation.
After stating the purchase could not progress without the management pack, it turns out they had it on their systems for weeks, without even looking at it or acknowledging to us or the sellers solicitors that they had received it. I don't know if their staff are just bad at their jobs or lazy, but either way it is unacceptable.
If you're looking for a smooth, quick and easy process AVOID LPL AT ALL COSTS!
David Platten who should have been able to help progress our sale has been instrumental in getting nothing done. When calling the offices we are passed around from junior member of staff to junior member of staff and only able to contact David over email, and when we have contacted him he has been of NO HELP and has not been able to progress anything.
Despite working with them for months we were never assigned a solicitor or point of contact, instead having to call up their reception over and over again to get any kind of response.
Happy to take your money and do absolutely nothing. I have never in my life experienced such poor service and lack of emotion or empathy.
Stay far far away from LPL, find another solicitor and I'm sure your journey will be much smoother than mine.
This was as positive a review as I could muster up.
