Sale of 26 Glanfield Road

We haven't moved house for 34yrs. You provide legal services for people moving house on a daily basis but it felt like you were doing it for the first time.
We would have expected some clear direction at the outset as to what we might need to provide during the course of the process. But we seemed to get requests in a piecemeal fashion. It felt that you didn't know they type of property you were dealing with which struck as odd. As a result late in the day we were still debating various indemnities; electrical certificates etc.
The one that really got us was the indemnity for the drop drive when the entire borough is full of them. there seemed no push back to buyers solicitors that what they were asking for was not needed. Never felt you were being that proactive or fighting our corner.
In our opinion you didn't demonstrate any valuable experience.

Thackray Williams dealt with a number of matters for me and my family. Firstly, it arranged legal matters concerning the sale of a property and then the settlement of an estate. Further work involved the setting up of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the making of a Will. In all circumstances the advice and support given was exemplary and a number of descriptions below have been used to cover the service in total (more of the descriptions could be used!). The work described took place over a period of time and the final invoices were presented in May this year.

Best solicitor's I have used after some pretty bad past experiences.l with other firms.
Alisha and Chloe were very responsive and the whole process of extending my lease to 999 years took less than 1 month. Very impressed with the professional service received. Would recommend.
