Truly Exceptional Throughout

I was wrongfully accused of multiple serious crimes in 2023. After
extensive research, my family and I chose Reeds Oxford for legal
assistance. From my initial bail period through subsequent arrests,
the charging process, and my eventual trial, I was represented by
their dedicated team. I am now fully acquitted of all charges and
living my life as a free person—something that would not have been
possible without Reeds' unwavering support.

My case was large and had a tight deadline, so I worked with many
different members of their team. Every single one of them was
impressive, consistently demonstrating incredible attention to detail,
a relentless work ethic, and a determined focus. They were
professional yet compassionate, non-judgmental, and excellent
listeners. Most importantly, they gave me hope without ever giving me
false expectations. Throughout the entire process, I felt I had the
best possible legal defense team imaginable. I always felt like a
priority, continually supported, believed, and protected.

Reeds also organized an absolutely brilliant counsel team—a barrister
and junior barrister—who were just as dedicated, detail-oriented, and
understanding. Reeds openly communicated with my family and me,
presenting multiple options. We ultimately trusted their
recommendation, which was a wise decision. I truly do not believe a
better counsel existed for my case.

As the trial approached, the Reeds team meticulously prepared my case.
They clearly explained every detail of the process and answered all my
questions. Every piece of potential evidence I submitted was reviewed,
and its usefulness was explained. Reeds also organized meetings with
the barrister duo to ensure I was always fully informed about the
proceedings and behind-the-scenes decisions.

The nature of the charges required me to discuss difficult and often
embarrassing truths from my past. The Reeds team and the counsel they
found were always compassionate, understanding, and non-judgmental,
offering a human approach alongside solid professional advice. This
was invaluable. Accusations like these can carry a heavy weight of
undeserved shame and a fear of not being believed. At times, Reeds was
the only group outside my family and close friends truly on my side.
Their vast knowledge and experience helped me understand how the
justice system works and how to cope with the immense pressure.

One specific experience stands out. While I was on bail, the police
provided us with new disclosure that, from my perspective, seemed
powerful and left me feeling without hope. I was dejected and sitting
in despair after a long day at work when my phone rang. It was my
solicitor, Stuart Mathews. He knew I would have seen the new evidence
and simply called to see how I was doing. I hadn't requested the call,
and there were no legal matters to deal with at the time; he simply
wanted to check on me and give me an opportunity to express any
concerns. After our conversation, my mind was at ease, and my hope was
restored. Nothing about the evidence had fundamentally changed, but
his call demonstrated that I was believed, I was supported, and that I
had experts working tirelessly to ensure the truth prevailed. This
wasn’t the only time this happened, but it highlights how crucial
their support was. Without it, I’m not sure I would have been able to
cope with the brutal process of the justice system.

For me, what was most impressive was not their professionalism,
attention to detail, round-the-clock fast communication, exceptional
experience, or relentless work ethic. It was how they managed all of
that while remaining entirely human, caring, and empathetic to the
terrifying and overwhelming situation my family and I faced.

If you are in what seems like an impossible legal situation, I assure
you it is not impossible and it is not without hope. If you have Reeds
Oxford fighting your corner, you will have the best possible legal
support throughout the entire process.

Nathan is a legend

I’m a healthcare professional and was arrested by the police. It ended up being NFA but the record could have a detrimental impact on me. I have approached Nathan, whom I found really professional, patient and has extensive knowledge and experience. We have worked together to prepare a strong argument and I am very pleased that we received a successful outcome and records were deleted. Can’t thank Nathan enough and I strongly recommend him.

Stuart Matthews at Reeds is phenomenal

When we found ourselves unexpectedly in need of a lawyer, we asked our professional and legal friends around the country. The same one firm and one name was swiftly identified by all: Stuart Matthews reputation precedes him. He combines being warm, friendly and approachable with devastating intelligence and impressive efficiency. He also has the rare ability to really listen, question and then condense a complex narrative into an epic defence. His team at Reeds were also very efficient and professional. Stuart has achieved an excellent outcome in any matter in which he has represented us and we recommend him unreservedly.

Successful resolution of an offence

Was charged with an offence and had to seek out Nathan who I found online as he's got lot of experience in defence work. He was able to argue my case and was successfully able to resolve the matter out of court. He and I worked well in coming up with counter arguments and strong evidences to argue some of the questions and suspicions. Nathan's legal advice, expertise and quick responses to my emails and calls were very good. I would encourage anyone to provide as much relevant info and evidence you can think of as they can prove to be instrumental for Nathan to use in your favour to resolve without a criminal conviction, which was the best outcome.

Excellent Service

I got myself into a difficult situation with TfL earlier this year, and Nathan was extremely helpful with identifying the next steps and provided much needed clarity on the possible outcomes. His legal advice and response to TfL ultimately led to the issue being resolved outside of court, which was the best possible outcome.

I would highly recommend Nathan’s services to others!

Amazing Fare Evasion Support

Reeds were excellent at helping me resolve my fare evasion case. I had been silly enough to avoid paying my fare over a 5-month period and got caught by a Revenue Protection Officer. Reeds helped me resolve the case in just a few weeks by submitting excellent mediation. I was worried about losing my job as I work in Finance, and they made the process easy and straightforward for me. Highly recommended!

Excellent; thoroughly professional service.

Having persisted struggled with a previous solicitor who seemed totally off the pace, we contacted Reeds very much at the last hour; much to our relief the immediate response and level of communication was first-class. Very much against the clock, Clare Galo, our solicitor, worked tirelessly against the clock, covering a substantial amount of ground whilst keeping us up-to-date in a very conscientious and proactive way.
