I have at last drawn up my LPAs and Advance Decision thanks to Sarah's patience and understanding, as well as expertise. I couldn't have done it without her. Initially we approached Risdons for advice in obtaining Power of Attorney. This situation developed and it soon became a probate matter. It became clear that we were dealing with a complex financial arrangement. Hugh, Bart and all colleagues helped us navigate through.

We completed in just over two months and had a great experience with Risdons. They chased up additional enquiries quickly and were always responsive. It was a huge plus having direct contact with our solicitor—no call centres or switchboards to deal with.
Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. After using four other firms in the past, this was by far the best service we’ve had when buying a house. Would definitely use Risdons again!

During the process, the Risdons email server was hacked by criminals. As a result, we received the wrong instructions for paying a large amount. Now Risdons refuses all cooperation and does not want to compensate for the damage.
They are old-fashioned and use temporary staff. They do not take any responsibility and sometimes it takes weeks before you hear that the person handling your case has left. In the meantime, nothing happens and you are left to your fate.
Be careful what you do if you take advice from this office.

There's an old Somerset saying 'Never use Risdons' this bore truth on our recent sale of Laburnum Cottage. When all documents have been provided 2 months prior to enable a transfer, Risdons managed to avoid doing anything until the very last minute even though they had been told there was an urgent need to get the completion done. Somehow they lost one half of an electronic document and blamed the other solicitors. Then lied that the other solicitor was holding them up.
