I had spoken with four different solicitors who couldn’t help me . Slater and Heels were the only people who were straight on with the work needing to be done. They kept in touch through out and I felt confident they would get things sorted. They took a weight of my shoulders through a very difficult time , I can’t praise them enough.

Knowledgeable and Kind

Both Zoe Peeling and Claire MacKenzie helped me through a very difficult few years negotiating the estates of my parents. Both were excellent in their own areas of law, helpful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I wouldn't have been able to deal with the complexities of the law without them. Most grateful to have instructed both Zoe and Claire in these matters.

Residence change

Andrew and the team behind him secured a residence change for my son working with local authorities and having two fact findings, after a barrage of allegations were made against me leading to numerous issues.

The effort andrew puts into his cases is exceptional! I cant thank Andrew enough for what he's achieved for me, his patience, understanding & compassion make him an amazing family solicitor

Rachel is a exceptional criminal solicitor, who had to represent me on numerous occasions at different police stations, her compassion and her ability to deal with complex matters when the police slow walk things in time sensitive matters has been amazing!

As a pair these guys are amazing!

I would only ever use these two again for any future issues

I cannot thank you both enough for the amazing work you have both done, on a extremely challenging & complex case.

Excellent service from Helen Young of Slater Heelis solicitors

We entrusted Slater Heelis with the conveyancing relating to the sale of my late mother's house. We chose Slater Heelis because of positive prior experience for unrelated legal matters.

Our solicitor for the conveyancing work was Helen Young. From the initial contact and right through the selling process, until completion, Helen was totally professional, knowledgeable, approachable and a complete pleasure to deal with. Helen's vast experience ensured every aspect of the sale went smoothly. I would highly recommend Helen Young of Slater Heelis to anyone requiring legal services relating to the sale or purchase of property. Indeed I have also ensured that my daughter & her fiancé are currently in Helen's safe hands during the purchase of her first home.

Thank you Helen & Slater Heelis

Thank goodness that's over!

Knowledgeable & helpful team helped me through a difficult divorce scenario. Had good advice and communication from Mark & Kim. Towards the end of the process I dealt more with Kim, who was excellent and guided me through some difficult decision points calmly and efficiently. Generally costs were more than I expected, but saved me more in the long run, so a good investment.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Alexandra Goldrein at Slater Heelis. After a disappointing experience with a previous family law firm, I made the decision to instruct Alexandra to take over my case — and it was absolutely the right choice.

Alexandra is an outstanding solicitor: highly competent, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive throughout. She handled my financial settlement with precision and care, achieving exactly the outcome I had hoped for. Throughout the entire process, I felt reassured and at peace, knowing I was in safe hands.

Alexandra — I can’t thank you and your team enough for your professionalism and dedication. You made a stressful situation so much more manageable.

Had nothing but positive experiences using slater heelis. Daniel Henderson has been amazing in helping us both buy and sell our property and has replied to each of our queries very quickly. Miriam has also been fantastic in sorting out all the final things to conclude our sale and has also been great at responding to messages really quickly. Couldn’t recommend slater heelis enough and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am not too experienced with domestic conveyancing. Are any of us? So when we accepted an offer for our home, it was time to find a great lawyer. And we did! Zara Banday metaphorically ‘took our hands’ and guided us from start to finish with skill, care, consideration and most importantly with our best interests in mind at all times. I know that Zara will have been dealing with many clients simultaneously but she never failed to reply to an email, return a call or respond to our buyer’s solicitor, all in a timely fashion.

She is also rather adept at offering help to her counterpart from the buyers legal team when they rely on an inexperienced solicitor who doesn’t appear to know what to do. .

I don’t often recommend because it can get you into trouble. But on this occasion I can unhesitatingly advise anyone who is reading this, to contact Zara Banday at Slater Heelis. Selling your house is likely to be the biggest transaction of your life. I urge you to get Zara on your team before your buyer nips in ahead of you!!
