We were enquiring about our first making of a will and after a brief meeting with Mr Ashley we wanted a little while to think it over.
Within 15 minutes we were back and arranging a slot to make our wills.
All the legal jargon was put into understandable terms and within a week the documents were sent to us for approval. First class service.

I and my wife were pleasantly surprised by our experience with Gardner Champion Solicitors, we were immediately made to feel comfortable and relaxed, we had all the legal formalities and legal jargon explained clearly to us, we were given time to go home and mull over what we discussed we had the will in a rough outline for us to look over and amend to anything we wanted to add or change, it was all done efficiently and on time. A very professional and reassuring service.

Handling my divorce

I was recommended to Gardner Champion Solicitors by my mother who handled her house sale. I approached them regarding my divorce. My mind was not in the best of places by they were very comforting and understanding. Throughout the whole case they gave me great correct advice and direction. Divorce can cause confusion, frustration, panic, not thinking straight by Mr Ashley was professional, understanding, calming and gave the right advice. Over the year dealing with Mr Ashley I got better mindfully, I knew my direction, what was happening and better educated in the case. He was always honest as well. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent conveyancing service.

Excellent service and value for money. Julie recently completed conveyancing for the sale of our property. We proved to be a complicated sale, with collapsing chains and other challenges. Julie kept us updated regularly and managed to resolve all the issues in a timely manner. During this stressful time it was reassuring to have contact with a familiar, local solicitor rather than an impersonal call-centre. I cannot recommend highly enough.

About this branch

Description

Gardner Champion was an amalgamation of two firms, Gardner Railton and Co which had roots back to the 1900’s and Champions which was formed in the 1970’s. The two partners are Peter and Julie Ashley a husband and wife team who have both been qualified for over 20 years. The firm deals mainly with residential conveyancing, divorce and separation and family matters and wills and probate.We currently have a contract with the Legal Services Commission to provide publicly funded work in family matters only. One of the main advantages of instructing us to act for you is that because we are a small firm you are able to develop a one to one relationship with the person dealing with your matter. We believe that this is very important to our clients particularly as technology advances. There is still nothing better than being able to talk to the person with control.
