Dreadful, Stressful Experience

Legal Aid. First with Ali Khan who just didn't reply to my emails, then didn't inform me of the time of my PTPH, left me waiting at court for over 5 hours, then neither he nor my barrister turned up. I had several panic attacks. Changed to a different solicitor in the firm, Rizwana Mahmood. She was just as bad if not worse. Totally ignored emails, to the point where I had to email her 3 times and refuse a meeting before she actually realised that the CPS had not submitted all the evidence. She was abusive on the phone, gave me the inaccurate legal advise on several occasions.
DO NOT RECOMMEND

Wakash was really helpful, fully explained the processes at each step of the case to make sure it was understood, gave clear advice and was very knowledgable about the particular field. Wakash gave sensible advice, was honest about the case legitimacy from inception and was very receptive to alternative suggestions. Ultimately, when it mattered the most, Wakash brought immense clarity to the legal argument meaning the trial hearing was heard in and over in just 10 minutes (scheduled for 4 hours!).

I was so surprised by how friendly
and helpful the receptionist was and that he put me straight through to a solicitor, Kareemah, who was absolutely brilliant. She quickly understood a complex situation and gave me immediate advice . Arooj Ahmed was my solicitor looking after my case and from when she met me outside court I was made to feel she had everything under control. I was expecting the book thrown at me but Arooj had it all under control and I was let off lightly after my stupid mistake.
I will be using the same firm later for immigration as I have full trust in whiterose blackman llc
