Brilliant support for first time buyers
We've had a really great experience with Lyons Bowe so far. As first time buyers are were quite nervous and we ended up coming to Lyons Bowe as we've known 3 or 4 other buyers (some first time, some 2nd or 3rd homes) and they've all had a resounding positive experience with LB. Tessa Smith helped us with our initial enquiry and getting going, as well as giving some great advice on wills; she was super friendly and really approachable and gave good information on an initial phone call. We also dealt with Elle Box and Holly Caswell in the New Instructions team and they've been honestly brilliant. Communication at LB is super strong and we have moved really fast and been kept in the loop with absolutely everything. They're great at holding other solicitors and the estate agent accountable for every step and are great at comms and nudging the other parties to get our paperwork done. We really felt like every tiny query we had was answered and Elle and Holly never made us feel like anything was a silly question. They were also super responsive as well which has been fantastic! We've now had a handover from Rachel Harper to Katarina Donovan in the Legal Team and we're sure that the great service is going to continue. Thank you so much to everyone at Lyons Bowe - really great experience and looking forward to crossing the finish line to our first home with you all!

One star is too many!
Horrendous! The worst communication I’ve ever experienced, you get moved from one person to another dependant on the stage of the sale so no continuity, and if you run into problems with others in the chain this firm do absolutely nothing to support you or help move things along, questions are consistently ignored, when discussing poor communication with the CEO he was the most patronising man I’ve ever spoken to in my life, he told me that he encourages his staff not to reply to emails because they have better things to do than spend time placating clients, and he reprimanded me for referring to myself as a paying customer because ‘we are providing you with a legal service not a product’ absolutely would never ever touch this firm again, they don’t deserve the money they’ve had from us.

Rachel Harper was Amazing!
The solicitors and support team were fantastic. Very organised and well run. I have had a great experience selling my house and going to use them again in future for purchasing my next one. Even though I never met Rachel, I felt the service was personal and her communication was fantastic throughout the very long process!

Home Purchase
I hired Lyons Bowe to support my home purchase. They have a lovely app that shows your progress, but we could never meet our solicitor face to face as she worked from home.
We didn’t appreciate having a different person for each step of the process, as it lead to several errors due to missed information from one person to another.
In the end it all worked out, and they did make an effort to make up for errors made, so I would trust them again.

Professional service
In spite of delays (not due to our solicitors) the team at Lyons Bowe did their best to make the conveyancing process as least stressful as possible. Holly got the ball rolling for us. Rachel explained clearly what was involved and provided us with detailed information. Jess was very efficient and always polite.
