Although not a direct customer whilst giving cash to children as a gift to help buy a house, it can be time consumming, due to having to provide all its sources and copies of bank statements. LYONS BOWE SOLICITORS chased for each element so that they met the Money Laundering Regulations. The time taken was not warned about but the staff where professional and courteous.

Our solicitor was slow and didn't communicate very well. It lead us to withdrawing from the purchase of our property because we just had enough. We had recommendations that Lyons Bowe were good solicitors, but maybe we were just unlucky.
We had lots of questions regarding our lease terms and it took weeks to get any answers which were often not explained, unclear or forwarded to the seller's solicitors who were also of no help.
Documents, links and other attachments were often sent and not explained. This was unclear and regularly lead to missing things despite our diligence.

Lyons Bowe and the team were able to smoothly support the sale of my house. The online platform made it easier to track progress and required documentation. Communication with the different solicitors was on the whole good, the compleation felt a little rushed, but I doubt these things happen without their challenges. I would work with Rhea, Nompilo & Michelle again.

Very frustrated with the service we received- you are not allocated 1 solicitor but instead passed across 3 different teams and get someone different replying to you every time. They have been very slow to respond to emails- even on the week of exchange which has made the whole process of buying our first property quite stressful.
