Excellent solicitor

Property Sale
My property sale was a great experience with Shawn at Watermans. We were working across timezones but his clear, concise and timely comms made it easy and smooth. I’d thoroughly recommend Shawn and wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Can't recommend Watermans Scotland enough, I dealt with Shawn Wood who gave me all the information I needed really helpful & kept me in touch with progress on the purchase, as it was my first time buying an auction property. Shawn was excellent and reassuring when helping me through navigating with auction properties in a short turnaround. Excellent thank you very much. Would use Shawn again

A Very Positive Experience at a Really Stressful Time
Although Waterman's are not my regular solicitors, I decided to ask Shawn Wood, to act on my behalf, for buying and selling my property, on the advice and guidance of the estate agent from Belvoir. It is 31 years since I last bought and sold. I made Shawn aware from the start, that I am naturally a slightly anxious person. I felt all the way through the process, that he afforded me the ability to voice my anxieties and concerns. I was dealt with kindness, understanding and patience by him. I fully appreciate how very busy he is, but felt comfortable being slightly 'needy'.
All legal documents, were broken down in 'bite size' chunks by him and sent to me by email, so I could 'digest' them in my own time and pace. I was able to re-read them at my leisure, so I fully understood the implications.

First Class - start to finish
Recently sold my flat and all went smoothly- everything was addressed “on line” and I therefore was not required to make a trip to lawyers to discuss or sign any documents.
Highly recommended.

Buy to Let Purchase
I employed Watermans to help with the conveyancing services of my first buy-to-let property purchase. Evie and Shawn provided an excellent service the whole way through the process, keeping me up to date on progress and explaining in detail wherever I had questions. I was very pleased that I had chosen Watermans to act as my solicitor and would certainly recommend them. Professional and supportive
I can highly recommend Watermans to support you through the purchasing of a property. Shawn and his team were supportive and responsive throughout, concluding my sale within 8 weeks of an offer being accepted. They are also very friendly and make the stressful process of house purchasing that bit more pleasant!

Conveyancing
Shawn sold 2 flats for us. One flat had a difficult purchaser's lawyer. He dealt with that situation incredibly well.
