Vanessa is a consultant chartered legal executive FCILEX who has over 35 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of family law problems. Vanessa aims to bring family issues to a conclusion amicably and swiftly wherever possible, reducing the issues between the parties in a practical way to reduce the stress associated with family breakdown. Not all family issues can be resolved amicably or completely by agreement and Vanessa also has extensive experience in bringing all types of cases within the court arena. Vanessa has extensive knowledge and experience in high net capital or income financial cases as well as the more regular financial disputes that arise following a marital breakdown. Vanessa has dealt with all sorts of issues with children following a relationship breakdown from arrangements to when and who the children should see, parental responsibility issues to more complicated issues such as changing a child’s name, removing parental responsibility to permission to take children out of the UK for holidays or permanent relocation. Vanessa is based on the Suffolk/ Essex border but can take instructions nationally. Vanessa was nominated for and was a finalist for Legal Executive of the year in 2019 for the Family Law Awards. Vanessa has also advised the writers of the soap Emmerdale on a family law related script and spoken on local radio on family law topics.
