Highly Professional Service
Mariette had clearly explained the process of selling our property at the outset.
The whole procedure documented and followed on email saving costs and time.
Very prompt at replies.
it was a very quick process, much better than we could ever have imagined with the sale going through from the offer date to moving in 6 weeks.
We were delighted to have the money in the bank, with all the checks going smoothly we felt in safe hands.

Very happy she would recommend

Conveyancing
As a first-time buyer, this was my first experience of dealing with a firm of solicitors. I received a
very prompt reply to my initial enquiry, and a guide to the conveyancing process which explained the process in plain English although as we got closer to completion, I did have questions which, with hindsight, I feel could have been better anticipated. I was impressed by the thoroughness of the process and the quantity and quality of information generated by the local searches and the exchanges between solicitors. At the same time, errors were made in some of the documents I received and I sometimes had to wait longer (a week or more) for a reply to an email than I would have liked. These relatively minor issues made the experience a good rather than a great one.

Purchase of 38 Gladstone Street, Harrogate
Buying a house is said to be one of the most stressful events in our lives. It is emotionally charged and involves extensive paperwork and an understanding of intricate legal issues.
My solicitor Mariette was super. She took me through the detail and complexities of the house buying process step by step. She was reassuring, always professional, responding very promptly to my many queries. For me there was an added sense of urgency as my rental lease was due to expire and indeed the flat was sub standard and unhealthy. Whilst ensuring that all aspects of the process were thoroughly resolved, Mariette made certain that the whole process was completed within my urgent timescale. I am very grateful.
One of the key attributes of the service that I received from Mariette was her approachability and willingness to quickly resolve my anxieties. In this respect, I felt it was great that Walker Foster have one of their offices based in Harrogate and I could pop in at any time if necessary rather than send signed forms through the post. This certainly helped a great deal at the exchange of contracts stage.
I cannot recommend Walker Foster and especially Mariette Marren highly enough. The service they provided was exceptional at all times and the office in Harrogate is super asset for the Harrogate area.

House Sale - Mariette
First class service from Mariette under the current conditions that we find ourselves in.
I am used to dealing with MY Solicitor - previously Chris Tunnard - so was initially disheartened to find myself being passed from office to office and person to person. The interdepartmental communication was not good - and I was starting to panic.
However, when I eventually ended up in Mariette's safe hands I didn't need to worry again. She pushed my sale along at an exceptional rate. Nothing sat on her desk for any length of time. She was always very quick in responding to my queries and was always a step in front me.

Excellent customer experience - house buying
Mariette was so efficient and responsive from when she took over the management and control of my very challenging and protracted ( none of which was due to Mariette ) buying process. She was always contactable via any channel and on hand to answer any questions I had no matter what they were, and there many.
Would definitely use Coles again and would happily recommend them based upon my own great customer experience - great service from friendly and professional people to work and interact with.
