Purchasing new home.
I have bought and sold a few houses in the past, always used Forbes with Kathryn Lofthouse and Jennifer Ross overseeing the process. I have just completed on my new home and the service I have received has been brilliant. They are so responsive, helpful and friendly. The cost is reasonable too. Friends have suffered long drawn out processes with solicitors who are slow to answer, with one telling clients not to chase her up in her email signature! Nothing could be further from my experience. Couldn’t recommend Forbes more.

Truly outstanding service provided by Stephen, Kathryn and the team
My partner and I used Forbes Solicitors to buy our first home, and we are so, so happy we did. We were hit with several unfortunate circumstances outside of our control throughout the process, and Stephen, Kathryn, and the rest of the Forbes team, dealt with every single one with extreme diligence, professionalism and care. We were constantly updated with the information we needed, and we were always met with empathetic and kind natures. We are truly grateful for their work, they really went above and beyond to get our house purchase over the line and to an extremely pressing deadline. 3rd time using and not let down
This is the 3rd time of using Forbes and not let down again. Thank you to Kathryn for her support and hard work on behalf of our late parents house. Kathryn always responded efficiently to my calls, emails and information I sent. Took plenty of time with me and my brother when we visited the office during a very busy March, due to the end of stamp duty deadline. Kathryn, also really helped our buyers to prevent a high increase in stamp duty to make sure completion happened on 31st March 2025.

First Rate Residential Conveyancing
Kathryn and the whole team at Forbes worked really hard to get a residential sale across the line for us ahead of the stamp duty changes. We've used them numerous times for sales and purchases and they're always friendly, professional and prompt.

Transfer of ownership

House conveyance

Excellent service
Kathryn Lofthouse and her team dealt with the transfer of ownership of my property.
It was not a particularly straightforward procedure but my solicitors helped me every step of the way .
Everyone was friendly and helpful and really efficient.
I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again myself in the future.
