Me and my partner are first time buyers, but have never had to worry about the stress of buying a house, wondering what the next steps are or how the process will work. Jacqueline has been amazing at keeping us updated, informing us about the next steps throughout and what we need to do.
You hear of people having to constantly chase their solicitors, but this wasn’t the case at all. And we have just completed in 3 months!!

Quick and efficient.
We had problems with our sale and purchase, but none caused by solicitor. She did everything she could to ease things along. Jacqueline gave us confidence it would be alright.

Exceptional Service
I’ve used John Lewis several times now and have always been extremely satisfied with the service. Jacqueline consistently goes above and beyond — I never had to chase or enquire about anything, as I was always kept fully informed. Can't recommend high enough!
We cannot recommend Team Byrd high enough! Having moved areas and therefore looking for a new solicitor, I contacted a few conveyancing firms before being lucky enough to get a friendly, fast and reasonable quote for John M Lewis and it just got better and better. Nothing was too much trouble and we truly felt like Jacqui was with us every step of the way. Her refreshing approach, down to earth style was second to none. She never hesitated to pick up the phone (unheard of in our experience) to give us a quick update. Buying a new home is stressful but Jacqui was tenacious and did everything she could to get us over the final hurdle! Thank you Jacqui - we will forever be grateful!

Brilliant
After being let down after 6 weeks of my house purchase with another solicitor Jacqueline was recommended to me by a friend and she was fantastic. I’ve moved house a few times and non have been as seem-less as this. Jacqueline is calm and collected and I would absolutely recommend her and John M Lewis.

Great conveyancing service

Excellent customer service
An amazing service! Our house sale and purchase was handled with such care and attention to detail. Jacqueline Byrd was brilliant and so responsive. We had a roller-coaster of a journey with chains falling through, but Jackie was always there to support, going over and above to sort things out for us. In the end, we were dealing with John M Lewis for over a year - but do not have one single bad thing to say about them! Highly recommend!

Experience review
Jackie handled the purchase of our sale and I was extremely impressed by her.

Conveyancing
Jacqueline and team were great, helpful and kept me up to date.
However, the online form filling was awkward and inflexible. The explanatory notes often seemed as complicated as the topic being explained.
