Do not use these lawyers
Please do not use these lawyers if you want to get your house completed in a reasonable time frame. Constantly chasing them, they take ages to return your calls and emails if at all. They were asking for information they had already recieved. Honestly just an awful experience with them. Should of completed a month earlier than I did. And that was down to these lawyers. They had me, estate agents and the vendors solicitors chasing them. Any decent firm shouldn't need this to complete. STAY CLEAR

Right to buy mortgage
Continuous communication and answered all my queries putting my mind at ease. Nothing was to much trouble. Made sure my mortgage application to completion ran smoothly and in the requested timeframe.

Purchase of property
Jake was so helpful and responded quickly to my queries. He made the process stress-free and allowed us to move forward without any issues.
Our case involved a vendor who almost pulled out at a later stage, but he understood he had to work within the shortest of time to meet the vendor's timeline. Assisted with my Help to Buy bonus, and at no point did it feel overwhelming. Thank you for the excellent communication and prompt responses throughout the process. I highly recommend you guys.

First Time Buyer- Jake was amazing!
I found my dream home and had Jake Berriman working on my case- I was really apprehensive as a first time buyer and it required a lot of communication and being kept up to date but Jake was there every step of the way in looking after things, all the way through to completion. He was very supportive and nothing but good things to say about how he handled the case. Would definitely recommend Jake for sure and really happy with his advice and guidance!

Excellent "wrap up and completion" pace, true above-and-beyond effort
Jake and team absolutely pulled out all the stops to get our purchase done, and during (as far as I read) the busiest house-buying period recorded.
Unbelievable effort to finally wrap everything up once everyone was ready, and Berriman's instructions / legal advice was always top tier.
4 stars rated because it is a "get what you pay for" situation. If you have a 3-5 month expectation i.e. normal long chain, PMPL will get everything right on time. If you are hoping to be done in seriously short time (like 8 weeks) this is not the right company.
This is not a complaint, as it is clearly set out in expectations when hiring PMPL, but is just what we experienced.
