Employment Matter

It was a daunting task to consider taking my Multi MIllion Pound employer to tribunal, but even with my lack of legal knowledge of Employment Law I knew I was wronged. I contacted Machins and assigned to David Rushmore and Philip Bain. They made everything clear and rated my chances of success which agreed with my insurers assessment. After a little stalling, posturing and negotiation, as soon as the tribunal date was set my employer made an out of court settlement far above their first offer.

Have used Machins many times, more so for family issues and house conveyancing, unfortunately I had the need to use them for a recent potential employment related issue. Both Philip Bain & David Rushmere were absolutely fantastic. They offered good sound practical advise and guided me calmly through a situation that could have quite easily escalated.

I highly recommend them both and can only thank them both for their recent endeavors.

Philip Bain has been first class in a matter that he dealt with for me.

I have worked on a couple of issues with Machins, most recently updating our employment contracts with David Rushmere, and I have found them to be all the things you would want your lawyers to be - knowledgeable, professional, friendly, approachable; they always find a way to communicate on your level, whatever that may be, so you never feel confused or belittled because you don't understand what they're saying. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
