Hi , Its been 12 months since I was given your contact details from my union , I work for DCC Exeter and was redeployed during the pandemic last year . I injured my shoulder and was off work for 10 weeks . Worth the wait, great outcome

Thompsons took up my personal injury case through my union membership, I did not pay anything for the service as costs to me were covered by my union.

The accident took place in February 2018, and it took several years to resolve my claim, it was an unusual injury and finding the right expert witness took some time. The injury resulted in me having hand surgery and long term neuropathis pain. The injuries and onging pain management have had a long term, ongoing, impact on my life.

There were several changes of personel in the time Thompsons were dealing with my case, and the pandemic did not help as things moved very slowly during that period. My case was transferred from a paralegal to a solicitor once the nature of my injury was valued.

All Thompsons staff were persistent and tenacious on my behalf and my solicitor got me a really good settlement. I am so greatful to them, the financial settlement has made my quality of life much better as I have been able to buy what I need to manage pain, including a car that is easier for me to drive.

Fell on hotel staircase. Unsure of cause, so sought advice. Resulted in detailed report including CCTV footage which showed lapse of concentration, not blackout or negligence (except my own). Has given me peace of mind, very happy to learn no underlying cause. Doubt this level of information would have been forthcoming without legal assistance.

Thompsons Solicitors is a pillar in executing justice, especially when it comes to protecting vulnerable people and workers.
Roger has been a professional advocate in defending my rights.
He has shown empathy, been a good listener and mediator, and applied the law in the most balanced way. He did this not only to protect me but also to help establish solid relationships with the employer despite the conflict.
I cannot recommend enough how their humanity and strong expertise in the field are key when you need someone trustworthy to apply the law in its most intrinsic and beautiful value.

Used thompsons for a personal injury claim (hit by car while cycling) and cannot fault them. I dealt with Phillip James and emma garland. They were very understanding and patient with my lack of tech abilities when It comes to filling in online forms etc. They made a not very nice experience quite bearable. Commutation was I think the best quality. Promptly answered emails and having phil actually answering the phone for the majority of the time was extremely helpful, especially if i was concerned about something. If I am unfortunate enough to have to go through this process again, I will not hesitate to use thompsons and hopefully Philip James again

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Ms Vanetha Armon for representing me in front of the Traffic Commissioner for accidents whilst driving a bus. It was all last minute but she was very calm and reassured me as I was very worried I would be suspended or lose my license. She advised me superbly and I would recommend her to anybody in similar circumstances.
