Slow and poor communication

Extremely slow process, I had to push and push to get closure. Finally on completion there was no final account so I have no detail on disbursements.

I emailed my solicitor 2 weeks ago for an update but have not received a response yet. I then have to call in to speak with a representative to get an update which was eventually relayed to me. I feel I’m being left in the dark and begging for updates.

Zero communication and then hounded for repeat instruction when my buyer pulled out of sale. I had to beg multiple times for the return of my original documents. Shoddy customer service. I would never instruct them again for conveyancing.

My previous experience with other solicitors had all been poor - that everything would take ages, that they were impossible to get hold of. Seeking an alternative, I went online and PCS came top of the list for recommended solicitors. I have been thankful for that ever since - throughout the process for which I hired them they have been efficient, replied promptly to all my communication, and kept me fully informed.

What service?

They never call back. No correspondence whatsoever. Even if you drive to office no one has the courtesy to see you other than the receptionist.

Lauren and the team dealt with the sale of my mother's bungalow. Lauren was very approachable and friendly and happy to explain each step of the process. She was proactive in advising me of critical dates and documents to be signed. I was able to get through immediately to their office on the phone whenever I had queries. The whole process was much quicker and easier than I expected. I was also happy with the price charged for the conveyancing process. I would definitely recommend Lauren and the team at Wickford office of PCS Legal.
