Mark Yiu is able to provide detailed procedures and required documents for property transactions, and gives timely updates on the progress, especially in preparing and following up on documents, demonstrating strong competence. He is also able to offer solutions when difficulties arise during the transaction process. His email responses are prompt and effectively address our questions. In addition to English, he can also communicate with us in Cantonese, which is a language advantage we greatly appreciate. We will definitely recommend him to our friends.

My solicitor Mark provided very professional service throughout my selling process. He not only responded very quitely to my questions but also provided proper advises for my desicions. As a foreign client with limited knowledge of the legal procedures, I find it very convenient to liaise with my solicitor via emails and feel that Mark is a very reliable person.

Excellent Service - Would Fully Recommend

I very rarely give reviews, but feel the need to thank Sanah for her support and service we’ve received. From start to finish, her communication has been excellent — always clear, timely, and reassuring. It made such a difference knowing I could trust Sanah to keep me informed and guide me every step of the way.

What stood out most was the genuine care she showed throughout the process. It never felt like I was “just another case” — I was treated with respect, empathy, and professionalism at all times. Brilliant solicitor for first time buyers

My partner and I had Mark as our solicitor for our purchase of our first property together and we can’t thank him enough for the hard work and trouble he had to go through.

Going into this process not knowing what to expect is a daunting and anxious experience. But Mark assured us what needed to be done. Buying property is not straightforward and considering we encountered a few obstacles with the EWS1 form we were a bit uneasy about the process.

However Mark knew what he was doing and provided us with all the relevant information.

Mark was responsive with his emails and made sure we were kept in the loop.

It may be easy to fool first time buyers, but we did not feel like this at all. In fact, where there were potential issues, Mark outlined the implications it may have whether we decide to keep or sell in the future. This is how all solicitors should act but unfortunately, this is not always the case.

Exceptional service, Saranya helped us secure our dream home

The Property Litigation Team at Ronald Fletcher Baker handled a sensitive case on my behalf in a highly professional and timely manner. The case related to a landlord and tenant dispute (in which I was the landlord). The case was not straightforward and they adopted a collaborative approach.

The team left it to the last week before my mortgage offer expired to try and get a completion sorted after I had chased Tom for several months warning of this to happen. Was in that stage also passed on to two colleagues, one a trainee who wasn’t able to update me before talking to a superior, and a partner, Samantha, who only realised the day of the set exchange that she didn’t check the seller had submitted all docs and we can’t actually exchange. Didn’t even acknowledge that and only told me in the afternoon of the planned exchange day that there is an issue and then left for the day. Absolutely not sure what I paid more than £2k for.
