I had a really positive experience with Churchers and in particular Leesa who looked after my Pre-nup. She was professional and informative providing clear advice that was easy to understand. She actively tried to make the process as straight forward as possible which was the opposite experience my partner had at a different company. This meant that my legal fees were considerably lower than my partners as Leesa was honest and kept meetings to what was necessary. I would use her without hesitation again (but hope not to need to!).

We used Karen from Churchers for our first home purchase in 2018 of our new build and she was extremely good. We recently sold that new build property and without a doubt instructed Karen again. Karen responds so quickly and with all of the information you need to know and is accessible if you have any questions! Karen is extremely knowledgeable in general but especially with the new builds. We instructed Karen on our most recent purchase also, it was an extremely complex transaction due to a small independent development of new build homes and Karen made sure there was nothing left unturned or not looked at. Karen has gone over and beyond helping us with all of our three transactions now but the most recent purchase you could not fault Karen at all, Karen has lots of patience and is very aware of her clients timescales and needs. Karen has protected us at and offered honest and clear advice at every step of the way. I would recommend Karen King absolutely and will use Karen again in the future. Thank you to Karen.

One phone call to the firm on thr 23rd January to stress how I wanted a sale of one of my buy to let properties to be done without any time wasting, and I was fortunate enough to have been placed in the fantastic hands of Katie Guess. She was professional from instruction to completion and genuinely has to hold the record for the most efficient property sale. 28th February and we completed the sale. Unbelievable turnaround. A lot of people complain about solicitors and the slow speed, but thankfully if you use Churchers and the likes of Katie and her team around her they get the job done exactly as they tell you they will. A 5* review doesn't do even touch the edges. I'm beyond pleased and would highly recommend anyone that wants a job done right to make the call into this firm.

Overall my experience was unfortunately negative. I felt on more than 3 occasions it was difficult to make contact with the solicitor dealing with my case to ask for advice when I really needed. Invoices were vague and I would argue inaccurate for the work completed, which at times was also below what I would expect. When requested, a detailed invoice was provided on one occasion. I understand it can be hard to track exactly how long a letter can take to draft, but there didn't seem to be much consistency.
Some early drafts were clearly copied and pasted due to the incorrect address being presented in some of the documents. The advice was professional, and I hope it might have just been a one-off negative experience.
