This review is for a different branch.
We were referred to DAS Law by NFU Mutual after our stone porch collapsed, a serious structural failure that could have caused serious injury. From the beginning, our experience was frustrating and disheartening. The case was assigned to a representative whose background was primarily in personal injury law, not in construction or product liability, which was concerning given the complexity of our claim.
Over the course of 18 months, we dealt with delays, vague communication, and a lack of clear direction. Multiple structural engineers assessed the porch, and we provided all necessary information, yet little progress was made. In the end, after a lengthy and exhausting process, we were told that a barrister would not support the case, effectively closing the matter with no resolution.
We’re fortunate that no one was harmed when the porch collapsed, but the legal process added unnecessary stress. Based on our experience, and the consistency of other poor reviews, DAS Law appears under-resourced and lacking the necessary expertise for handling complex claims. We would not recommend them for cases requiring specialist knowledge or timely, proactive legal support.
