After hearing so many horror stories about solicitors and the home buying process, as first time buyers we were expecting a very long and painful process. From the very first interaction, Fiona and her team were nothing but patient, understanding and straightforward. Our - many - questions were answered super quickly and efficiently, and every step of the way was explained. They were organised, quick and efficient, and they made the process so easy! First time buyer - much less stressful
As first-time buyers in Wimbledon, Fiona certainly made the process much less stressful, and we had the upmost trust in her. We were happy being guided through the process by her and she absolutely had our best interests in mind. She ensured we weren't taken advantage of and defended our position. We have had an absolutely brilliant service from Fiona Mcleish twice now when buying and selling houses. It is so rare to deal with a conveyancing team that are responsive, proactive and so delightfully human. Goodlaw are reasonably priced, but I would happily pay double to deal with a team like this compared to any other conveyancer I have ever dealt with - they are often the weakest link in the chain but Fiona held ours together.
