House purchase

We had a fantastic experience of buying a property with the help of Jina and Alisha. Communication throughout the process was clear and timely and both Jina and Alisha were responsive, friendly and professional.

After a bad experience with a different firm for a previous property sale, we are so glad we chose GoodLaw for this purchase. They worked quickly and thoroughly and kept us updated every step of the way. There were no unpleasant surprises with the fees, and us not having to relentlessly chase things was a huge relief and made the process as stress-free as possible.

We would recommend Jina and her team without hesitation. Thank you Jina and Alisha!

Patient, diligent, responsive and respectful

George was absolutely on our instruction from the first week, turning everything round quickly and responding to our every question and request quickly and clearly in a way that, frankly, I’ve never experienced from a conveyancer before. Respectful, clear and even willing to offer a clear opinion without further charge.

Exceptional Service

I recently purchased my first property and as expected I was daunted & worried about how stressful this might be. However, Kirsty, Millie and Ellie made this process nothing but fun, exciting, stress-free and memorable for all the right reasons! The communication from them is fast and efficient, their processes are rock solid and I could see how much work and thorough investigation was done by Kirsty working on my behalf. The superhero of solicitors!
No stone was left unturned, all i’s dotted and t’s crossed without exception, and fair, genuine information relayed to me when any queries arose. I highly recommend Goodlaw Solicitors and Kirsty specifically. Thank you for making this monumental life moment such a pleasant experience!

I recently purchased my first ever property, and as expected felt very daunted & aware of how stressful this could become.
Until Goodlaw Solicitors was referred to me by 2 friends, Kirsty Gilbert was the super hero of solicitors! The lengths Kirsty went to ensuring every i was dotted and t was crossed, along with how thoroughly she worked on my behalf was tremendous! Even when it looked like complications were afoot, Kirsty made me feel at ease and gave me genuine, honest information. Milly and Ellie were endlessly efficient and so quick and kind at replying to my endless questions! Thank you all for making this monumental life event the most stress-free, exciting and positive time for me. The moving in card was also an unexpected delight!

After a frustrating and truly awful experience with a previous firm, we turned to Good Law Solicitors—and the difference was immediate.

From the moment Kirsty Gilbert took over our case, everything changed. Kirsty, along with Amelia and Ellie, was efficient, approachable, and genuinely supportive. They kept us informed every step of the way, answering our questions with clarity and care.

They not only brought us up to speed quickly but also played a vital role in saving a large property chain that was on the verge of collapse. Their professionalism and dedication were evident throughout and made a significant impact—not just on us, but on everyone involved in the chain. The contrast between our previous firm and the team at Good Law was night and day.

We can’t recommend Good Law Solicitors enough—especially Kirsty. She truly turned our experience around and made what could have been a nightmare into a success.

We have and will continue to recommend Kirsty and her team.

Thank you!

Not the best experience when buying a house. From the beginning I explained I was using a LISA and they didn’t seem to take this on board. It was only until a family friend told me the process of how to use it for the purchase I was able to use it. This resulted in later than anticipated for the completion date.
Trying to get the bank details to pay also just took so long.
I don’t think I would use them again. We still got our house though so we did reach the end goal. They are just very slow.
Getting other documents written alongside the purchase was a painful. The confirmation these documents had been completed was 4 months later!
