I can’t thank Sarah enough for all her help during the probate process. From the first conversation, she was kind, patient, and understanding, which made a challenging and confusing time so much easier to navigate. Richard, from start to the process to Completion, was patient, friendly and communicative to all our queries and needs. We valued his guidance and efficiency. Fees for the work carried out were also very reasonable against industry standard. Would certainly use the firm again, if need be, or recommend CB to those needing conveyancy services.

I was very satisfied with the service provided by Carter Bells. 99% of my dealings were with Anneka Singh who was very professional and responsive throughout the whole sale process. There were some issues with the sale which Anneka handled very well, keeping me up to date with progress and all available options on how to proceed. On completion Anneka successfully negotiated the best interest rate based on delays caused by the buyer.

Excellent conveyancing service - for the 3rd time!
My sisters and I have had to make 3 probate sales of properties in the last few years due to the deaths of our mother and aunt. The service we have had from Carter Bells, and from Jeanine Hickling in particular, has been really excellent. Jeanine is responsive, efficient, helpful, gives excellent advice, and is great at being assertive with the other party's solicitor/conveyancer where need be! I would highly recommend her to anybody who needs to buy or sell a property.

Description
Carter Bells was created on 1st May 1999 when Bells and George Carter & Co merged to become Carter Bells Solicitors. Our offices have always been been based in Kingston upon Thames. Bells was founded in November 1858 when Mr James Bell, the son of a Scottish Doctor, became Clerk to the Kingston County Magistrate Bench and opened an office at 13 High Street, Kingston, practising under the style of ‘James Bell Solicitor’. He was joined by his two sons, Francis James and John Sackville in 1890, and the practice became known as Bells Solicitors.
