Kayleigh has been excellent in helping to complete our house sale for us. Incredibly responsive to emails, regularly chasing up the other solicitors and really positive and professional in all aspects of the work for our house sale. Would definitely recommend Wilsons (and Kayleigh) to friends and family.

Tracy was very prompt at responding to my initial enquiry sent to the general Wilsons email address on their website. Tracy is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and proactive - she is a pleasure to deal with, nothing is too much trouble.

Oliver has dealt with the conveyancing aspect of my query in transferring a property into my sole name. He is an absolute gem - he is very thorough, professional, reliable, reassuring and knowledgeable. He has been willing to go above and beyond on several occasions answering my never ending questions (probably repeating himself) with a calm and patient approach. He is able to cut through the legal speak and phrase his emails in easy to understand layman's terms - which I found very helpful. He has made a stressful situation a lot easier to cope with by keeping me in the loop at regular intervals. I felt in very safe hands. The fees were not astronomical either.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Wilson’s Solicitors handled the purchase of my house and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I agreed to buy the property in early May, yet completion didn’t happen until the end of October – despite me being a cash buyer, with no chain, and the property standing empty. Even the estate agent, with 30 years in the industry, said it was the worst conveyancing process he had ever witnessed.

Our solicitor, Lois Calder, was completely unprofessional and painfully slow. A simple final fee calculation was wrong three times – basic maths adding three numbers together! Now, 9 months later, I am still waiting for the deeds to my property and have had zero updates from Lois, despite chasing her directly.

If you want a solicitor who is competent, communicative, and efficient, look elsewhere. I would never use Wilson’s Solicitors again and strongly advise others to avoid them.
