We had Charlee Purnell from Taylor Rose acting as the solicitor for our house sell and purchase. From start to completion, Charlee was organised and efficient, always quick to respond and helpful with stepping us through the complicated process. She was also super friendly, especially with answering any questions that I asked. If I needed solicitor support in the future, I’d definitely contact Charlee again.

Taylor Rose recently assisted me in the purchase of property. Louise James was excellent. She managed to get everything done in a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend her. Saying that the previous solicitor who I won't name did nothing on my case leaving Louise to do it all.

Avoid if you value your time and sanity
I was referred to Taylor Rose MW by Halifax for a remortgage, under the impression that conveyancing would be free. What followed was a stressful and poorly managed experience.
Despite doing the research myself (including identifying the HR4 form needed to resolve a home rights issue), I was charged an undisclosed fee just days before completion. I had no prior warning and no real choice but to pay it to avoid delays.
This is my second complaint about their service. Communication was poor, timelines slipped, and I felt completely unsupported. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated case.
I’ve submitted a formal complaint to the Legal Ombudsman and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Steer clear if you are a first time buyer. I'll keep this short and sweet. Little to no communication. I would simply ask where we are in the process and what came next simply to be ignored. Payment requests were unclear which lead to me overpaying by £380. This lead to an argument on completion day when I knew that I had already overpaid and still needed to pay them. Months later they came back and offered a refund of said £380. This took almost 3 weeks to get and more ignored emails.
Don't get me wrong. They did the job and we got the house. But god was it painfull. If you like being kept in the loop and knowing what's going on don't bother with them. Keep a track of exactly what you pay for and how much as they appear to struggle with this.

Would suggest rethink if using for conveyancing - they are incompetent - just destroyed a 3 house chain at point of exchange as sat on a morgage offer for 7 weeks and at time of exchange only bothered to check that a help to buy payment needed to be arranged - but a little unfair to expect them to read paperwork with only 7 weeks notice. To cap it all they have been chasing our solicitor everyday this week saying we are ready to exchange - this is Peterborough - We will not accept any future buyers using this solicitor - however the England system is broken they get to walk away with a shrug of the shoulders.

Worst law firm ever. AVOID USING SERVICES unless you want to be let down last minute and loose the mortgage on your property because they can't fo job properly.
Now I have to start all over again due to solicitors incompetence. Funny enough they expect me to pay fees, which aren't cheap for SERVICES I DIDN'T RECEIVE.
Tried to call, no one ever answers and when they, they tell you to stop ringing.
6 months later I have to start again with the stress again.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. COMUNICATION GOES ONE WAY, BARELY REPLY. SCAM. LIARS.
They only started my files week before mortgage offer runs out 🙄. Contacted complaint team. Still waiting 🙄
