Avoid at all costs – extremely frustrating experience!
I recently used this firm for the purchase of a property, and the entire process was nothing short of infuriating. At no stage was I provided with regular updates or even basic correspondence. I constantly had to chase them for information, making repeated phone calls just to understand where things stood. It became painfully clear that there was a complete breakdown in communication between the solicitor assigned to my case and her assistant – neither seemed to know what the other was doing.
As we neared the completion date, I discovered — not through MKB, but through external parties — that the wrong paperwork had been sent to the seller’s solicitor, causing a serious delay. When I raised this with MKB, they seemed completely unaware of the issue and, to make matters worse, failed to follow up with any explanation or update. I was left in the dark at a critical point in the transaction.
This level of negligence and disorganisation is unacceptable. I will never use or recommend this firm again. Approach with extreme caution. They added unnecessary stress to what is already a demanding process.
