My husband and I needed to find out about 'Mirror Wills' and hopefully go ahead with making them
Initially we did so as a result of Martin Lewis' Money tips re WillAid which listed Best Solicitors as a 'local participating firm' We contacted the firm and an appointment was arranged with Ellie Whitehead at our closest offce with a subsequent appointment 3 mweeks later when our business was successfully concluded

I used Best solicitors to put my house into joint names as tenants in common with my wife who I met 25 years ago and I already had the house at that time. This was to protect the house share as inheritance should one of us be in care after the other died therefore at least passing on something to our children so the government could not steal what we had worked all our lives for to pay for care unlike those on benefits who would get care for free having never worked. My only criticism is that contact was by email and when we needed to sign documents we had to find a printer to print them off then take the documents into Sheffield city centre, maybe they could give the option ( for older people like me ) of sending the documents out with an envelope for return once signed. Otherwise it was an easy process.

I was recently represented by Stacey Smith and Tom Tilbrook in a private claim. Both were fantastic. Stacey responded swiftly to all my instructions and onward queries. If not immediately available, she returned all my emails and telephone calls promptly, offering focused advice and guidance. Stacey acted upon those instructions concisely and with speed, to maintain momentum in my claim.
Tom made himself available to answer emailed queries and regularly spoke to me in person, by telephone, to keep me appraised of current progress. His advice and guidance on available options was clear and invaluable. His support approaching positive settlement was unwavering and his focused approach helped me arrive at a favourable decision in the circumstances.

They don't help with defamation of a character so can't exactly call them best solicitors.
This conclusion had taken them a full 7 days to conclude and respond which has caused me time wasted and setbacks.
The lady I was talking with on the phone was very rude and ended the phone call when I requested her name.
Overall I'm very disappointed and annoyed with the way I was treated when trying to source help and advice with this matter. (Hence 1 star)

The truth is solicitors are normal people. We’re frustrated and delighted by the same things as you. The perception that solicitors are distant and difficult only prevents the most vulnerable people from seeking help – and that injustice troubles me deeply.
