We were looking to make a couples will & reached out to a few firms. While the pricing across firms was more or less similar, we were really impressed by the service we received from Best Solicitors. I want to call out the exceptional service we received from Ellie Whitehead, right from the first interaction. She was patient, took time to understand our needs & explained our options. Once we had a discussion, we took time to think through the advise & discuss with our financial consultant/ accountant. Ellie was very patient and gave us the space to do what we needed to do before going back to her with the final confirmation. Once we confirmed, the rest of the process felt seamless, with Ellie taking time to share the draft document & follow up responses to questions we had. While Ellie had moved over to their new office, she took the time/accountability of relationship to personally come & help complete the documentation. She explained the specifics one last time before we signed the document & gave it to Best Solicitors to store on our behalf. Ellie is a credit to your organisation. Best Solicitors have earned a customer for life. I highly recommend your firm & you will definitely see a few referrals from friends/family.

We found Best Solicitors via the Free Wills Month scheme and had really good service. Everything was very clearly explained and they were patient and didn't mind going over things when we had questions. Correspondence was prompt, appointments were on time and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant and professional service. Ours was not the most straightforward house chain as multiple issues further down the chain lead to delays. Emma who dealt with our sale and purchase was absolutely outstanding, very friendly and on the ball with all actions needed, she was always available on the phone or via email when needed.
I would definitely recommend best solicitors and will use again in the future!!

I cannot recommend BEST solicitors highly enough. They have been absolutely fantastic in assisting with both the buying & selling of my properties. The entire team is friendly, diligent and highly efficient, particularly Emma, who has been incredible in not only her professionalism but her compassion and empathy. Really negative experience in our first time buying a house. Would not recommend to anyone.
There was red flags from the start with incorrect paperwork which we should’ve picked up on but our naivety in buying a house didn’t stop us going with best solicitors.
It was unclear start to finish, 0 communication and we found out most information from the seller herself when we went for second/third viewings etc.
We spoke with Elizabeth to express our issues we had who was not understanding whatsoever and actually criticised our email expressing our issues. She made comments such as “has he never made a mistake before” talking about me, and “if the sellers documents have gone missing, how is that my fault?” The seller was also using Best Solicitors at this point before she made the correct decision to change to a better firm.
We bought that house in November 2024 and today have just paid an extra £300 they requested even though they told us we had paid this already. It got to the point I was fed up of the threats from their error so it was better just to pay it to stop the stress it had caused me.
Please read the reviews on this company before deciding to use Best Solicitors.

The truth is solicitors are normal people. We’re frustrated and delighted by the same things as you. The perception that solicitors are distant and difficult only prevents the most vulnerable people from seeking help – and that injustice troubles me deeply.
