Satisfied client.

I was quite nervous having to pay a visit to the solicitors but I was soon put at ease. The lady in the reception was very welcoming.
The solicitor who dealt with my business was very nice, friendly and professional. I was able to explain what I wanted doing and she went through everything.
A very satisfying visit.

Excellent service

I have used Rotheras for various purposes over the years, from notary to litigation. On this occasion I was buying a flat and required their services for conveyancing. I worked with Sara Odedra from the Leicester office and couldn't be more pleased. Sara was professional and knowledgeable. The vendors side was challenging, but Sara kept on top of the case and we completed just in time. I was very happy with the service provided and will be coming back to Sara when I remortgage.
I will continue to use Rothera Bray when I require legal services and assistance.

Only good things to report on conveyancing

I have only good things to say about my experience of using Bray & Bray for conveyancing.

I used Bray & Bray twice so far and wouldn't go anywhere else as long as the same partner stays with the firm! I appreciate that the same firm may have both 'excellent' and 'poor' experiences depending on who you consult within the firm.

I have had horrible experiences with conveyancing solicitors in other firms in the past, mostly either due to them being non-responsive or not thorough--or both. **Neither of these issues occurred with Bray & Bray!**

The first time, I used Bray & Bray between 2017 and 2020 to repeatedly try to sell a horrendously complicated listed building--a nightmare spanning years of various sales falling apart due to planning matters, and with conservation intricacies--and once to buy a new-build conversion where the sellers were not keen to respond and it was like pulling teeth for my solicitor and myself.

I've been delighted on both occasions and never felt I had to chase, always had the information I needed and I found partner Amanda Sutcliffe especially insightful and skilled at getting these awkward deals done and dusted! I think she's a great asset to Bray & Bray, and a very friendly and approachable person to deal with too. We've communicated almost solely by email and it's never been a problem.

I especially value Amanda's obvious long years of experience in knowing the points of law pertaining to conveyancing 'difficult' sales and purchases with challenging land matters and unusual queries involved. Not once has she responded 'I don't know' or failed to answer in a timely manner.

Amanda also knows when to advise me to think carefully about a given situation, never shy to give advice that may protect me from years of heartache. I also find her positive and willing to push forward when it's difficult.

A highly thorough and competent professional and a credit to the name of Bray & Bray. (Oh, and my friend also has used the same partner for many sales and purchases and feels exactly the same).

Having seen the good and the bad of conveyancing solicitors, I would also like to add that I trusted Amanda Sutcliffe so much, this swayed me from buying in Scotland--where she couldn't have acted for me--and it brought me back to buying in England or Wales. Hence, I was only willing to buy in England or Wales this time, to ensure I was assisted by the right solicitor.

Truly happy and impressed--we got there again, Amanda!

Incredible

Ann has been exceptional during a very difficult three years since my grandmother passed away. House sales falling through and a slow market meant that the finalising of the estate wasn’t straight forward but Ann remained supportive and steadfast throughout. I can’t recommend this firm highly enough.

My Settlement Agreement following Voluntary Redundancy.

I found my experience with Rothera Bray Solicitors, and in particular, with both Natalie Abbott and George Cokkinos, to be both very reassuring, [because a Settlement Agreement from my Employer following Voluntary Redundancy, can often feel very dauting and overwhelming]. This was literally my first experience regarding a Settlement Agreement and I would like to convey my thanks to both Natalie Abbott and George Cokkinos, for their respective welcome and introductions and for helping to guide me through this whole process. They were both very Professional, efficient, welcoming and super-helpful in guiding me and advising me through every step of this process.

I recently went through a redundancy process, and Lauren was an incredible help throughout. Her expertise in employment law was evident from the start, as she clearly explained my rights and the steps I needed to take. What stood out most was her exceptional helpfulness—she was always available to answer my questions, often going above and beyond to ensure I fully understood everything. Her calm and professional demeanor made what could have been a stressful time much more manageable. Lauren not only provided expert legal advice but also offered reassurance and support, breaking down complex legal jargon into simple, understandable terms. Thanks to her guidance, I felt confident and well-supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate solicitor for employment law matters.

Family Court Hearings

I’m incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received from Gabriella throughout the child arrangement proceedings. She approaches every aspect of the case with exceptional care, attention to detail, and genuine empathy. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly understand the unique complexities of my situation and the needs of my children. Her ability to balance legal precision with emotional sensitivity has been invaluable during such a difficult and personal process.

What stands out most is how thoroughly she prepares — always referencing relevant case law, anticipating potential challenges, and providing clear, strategic advice tailored to my circumstances. I’ve never felt like just another client; she treats the case with the seriousness and dedication it deserves, and I feel fully supported and heard every step of the way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone navigating the family court system.

We have recently been working with Rothera Bray Solicitors and more specifically with Sara Odedra. We have personally worked with Sara for the last couple of years and would not work with anyone else. She has continued to excel herself and has proven on many occasions on how brilliant she is. Words do not even start to explain the level of service she has delivered, she has persevered with a difficult chain with the sale and onward property purchase. She did not hesitate to call us with regular updates, send email updates, chase progress with all parties involved and most importantly make everything happen. Thank you Sara, you are an asset to Rothera Bray and we are very grateful for your hard work.

Hi we use Rothera Bray when purchasing our first house.

We found them online through looking at a lot of positive reviews and we’re also on the least of recommended by the estate agents.

We cannot fault them at all, we have Tina Rana and Sarina assignment us and both were great.

Tina was super prompt and speedy at everything she had to do our side and all in got a fast competition (based off no chain sale)

She explained everything we didn’t understand thoroughly and had a really nice friendly approachable manner even if we had the silliest of questions.
