The sale of the property was longwinded and difficult - largely because of the attitude of the buyers' solicitors. Lyons Bowe Staff - and particularly Lucinda - demonstrated utmost patience and diligence, and we got there in the end!!

After over a year as executors of my mothers estate words cannot describe how awful Lyons Bowe have been.
They have lost details of accounts I gave them a year ago, not just one but 7. They have tried to tell me shares do not exist, when they do. They have charged me to send me a letter to inform me of a data breach
at their firm. They have not kept myself or other beneficiaries updated. They do not respond to emails. After over a year they are now aaking for more details, I call that delaying tactics. My mother would be absolutely horrified if she knew how awful this process has been

Overall we have had excellent service from Lyons Bowe.
Only criticism I have is that when using generic emails it is not always completely 100% clear what information is required when and from who when purchasing as a married couple in a Joint Ownership. For example, I completed all the required forms on the Ecos system within the App immediately without realising my wife had to complete the exact same forms which we found out 4-5 days later. This was as sorted quickly once it was made clear to us via a telecon with Holly who was our New Instruction Team Leader.

It is a shame to write this review, as previous experience with the staff in this office has been nothing but kind and helpful. Unfortunately, on my latest visit to get some paper work signed I was made to feel very unwelcome by the solicitor, (not at all made to feel like that by the receptionist) - in fact, made to feel like an inconvenience. The solicitor was late for my appointment, but that didn’t bother me as I know how busy they are, but I was made to feel like I was the one that was running late. He was also very rude whilst talking to me, it felt like he was trying to belittle me and make me feel like I did not know anything. I was planning on making an appointment to go through my will, but I really wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

After problems with connectivity, Lauren was very thorough in our discussion and we felt that all our questions were answered.

Although initially I had to chase a call back as my message to reception requesting a call back re acting for me in property sale was not acted upon, once I was designated a member of staff the process was very easy, efficient and I am kept well informed of progress re sale of property . Very polite and helpful .
